How to distinguish between voltage transformers and current transformers when they are normally used? Many people do not know how to distinguish voltage transformers from current transformers. In fact, we can distinguish them by the way of wiring.
1. The wiring mode of the former is as follows:
In a single-phase loop, it usually consists of one loop, so only one single-phase voltage transformer is needed. The primary coil of the transformer is connected to the high-voltage power line, and the secondary coil is connected to the terminal of the voltmeter.
If it is in a three-phase circuit, the three-phase voltage needs to be observed in order to install some days. A three-phase voltage transformer or a combination of three three-phase voltage transformers can be used for connection.
2. The wiring mode of the latter is as follows:
When there is only one electrical circuit in the single-phase circuit, we can measure the current through the current of a single phase.
If it is a three-phase three-wire circuit, because there is no load problem caused by phase line and intermediate line, it is necessary to use two current transformers, and also need to connect two ammeters.
In order to SIMPLIFY wiring and save equipment, a transformer and an AMmeter can be used when the three-phase loads are in a balanced state.
